International Meat Trade Association
The International Meat Trade Association represents more than 60 importers, exporters and wholesalers as well as associate members from relevant sectors including shipping, freight forwarding, ports, levy boards and cold storage.
IMTA represents the membership at meetings with the European Commission and is an active member of UECBV (European Livestock and Meat Trading Union). IMTA has regular meetings with DEFRA (Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs), The RPA (Rural Payments Agency) and The FSA (Food Standards Agency) as well as holding forums, seminars and visits for members.
